Who I Serve?

I believe knowing who your therapist is and how they work is important, as it gives you space to create choice and meaning in your journey. There is no one-size-fits-all therapy for every human, as we are all unique and create a sense of meaning in our own ways. Below are the specialties I work with. If you have any questions or are looking for support around a concern that is not shared below, please ask! I would like to support you in any way I can, even if that is pointing you in the direction of a resource or a therapist.

Specialties

I support you in understanding the root causes of your anxiety and developing strategies, such as mindfulness, to manage it. My goal is to empower you to regain control over your thoughts and emotions, allowing you to reduce fear and stress in your daily lives.

I specialize in supporting you with the weight of experiencing depression or low energy/mood, helping you reconnect with yourself and the world around you. My focus is to guide you in rediscovering your sense of purpose, meaning, and inner strength, so you can move forward in life with more hope.

I focus on helping you understand a deeper sense of who you are, including your values, core beliefs, inner world and cultural identity. My goal is to help you strengthen your sense of self, so you can feel confident, grounded, and empowered to make choices that give you more purpose and clarity and  align with your true, authentic self.

Navigating relationships can be complex, as we tend to understand ourselves through our connections with others. I help you explore the quality of your relationships and develop healthy ways to manage conflict, allowing you to build connections that honour your needs, boundaries, and overall happiness.

The effects of trauma can be difficult to see when we are immersed in it, especially without safe spaces for reflection and healing. I support you in uncovering and healing childhood, family, and historical wounds, helping you gain clarity on your sensitivities and patterns to foster deeper self-awareness and growth.

I use trauma-informed practices to help clients navigate the complexities, confusion, and pain of trauma. Specifically, I integrate EMDR to support you in processing your trauma, so traumatic memories have fewer effects on your body, mind and heart.

I support you in facing difficult life transitions, helping you navigate feelings of loss, disconnection, and uncertainty about your identity. Through this process, I guide you in understanding your emotions, rebuilding your sense of self, and finding peace as you step into a new chapter.

Deepening the connection between mind and body fosters greater presence, intention, and awareness of how we navigate the world and how our surroundings shape us. In therapy, I use somatic-based approaches to help you tune into your body, unlocking this powerful connection for increased clarity, resilience, and embodiment.
